Howell.bin?

I found a BIN in FTP.DIY.EFI.ORG called HOWELL.BIN. Does any one know what this bin is for? I burnt it and ran it in a 7747 ecm. I would like to know what combo this chip was set up for?

Without reveiwing fully what's in a chip, your exposing yourself to some real trouble when doing something like that. ie some engines can seemingly like lots of timing and lean at cruise, and not ping in cruise while steady state, but might be putting ALOT of heat into the oil and really not doing the mains and rods any good.

That's why I advise to always start with a known stock .bin that hasn't been tampered with. Look and study all the .bins you can, by all means, but be careful what you actually run. There are some minor changes that can have drastic effects.
