hello,
i'm attempting to replace the oem fuel injectors in my car
with new ones.
i have an 89 GTA trans am with the L98 350 TPI engine.
half of my injectors are the original multec designs...
and the other half, aren't...which i unfortunantly wasn't able to figure out what types those car because they were just sent out to cruzin performance for cleaning..

however i found out thur many part stores and even dealers say
that the only injector that is avaliable for the car
is pt #17112285..a/c delco's brand....
which i found out that these are the multec injectors!
i would of think by now they would of get rid of them and
have either a different replacement type or an updated type.

would anyone know if the new multec's are more "refined" then the original and become more "trust worthy"?
because i really don't wanna go with these unless i have no choice...

 

Might want to put this in the TPI board instead of the DIY PROM board...

On topic, you can get newer deisgns of injectors. Just this week I got 19 # units from a 2001 Mustang for $80 shipped with only 9K miles on them.

 

You could try this GM p/n 17111961 for 22# FI A/C Delco Bosch design. The only ones I think are available now. But are EXPENSIVE!
