???about interface cables from akmcables.com

i sent and email to akmcables.com and got this response

Cobra,

I'm not sure what he is referring to either, but I have one of his cables and it works fine with my '7730. I did nothing to the car but plug his cable in and it has worked flawlessly from day one. 1990 Camaro 305 TPI with '7730 ECM.

On the OBDI ALDL connectors they used M or E for the Serial Data pin.

Which is what works on most all scanners.
