Tuning startup with Romulator
Here’s my specs:
Supercharged 7psi 355cid all Forged internals, 9.5cr, L98 aluminum heads 2.00int & 1.60exh valves all ported by GTP out of Houston, Comp cams custom blower cam .560int .570ex Dur @ .50 .230int .235ex 114 deg LS, 1.6 Roller Rockers, Ported upper plenum, Large tube runners, ported TPIS bigmouth lower Intake, 30# injectors
Set @ 55psi.
Now to the problem.
I’ve been tuning this combo for quite some time now, via WBO2 , Data logs, and now the Romulator. Everything is going just great and about two months ago I tuned my startup stuff like Ski_down_it did, it starts rite up cold, hot, warm just perfect.
Turns out my battery was sick when I did this tuning, the starter turned slow but it started rite up.
Now I installed a new battery and the starter turns much faster but it takes the car about 3 to 4 sec to start now. I’ve played with the crank fuel multiplier 1-16 with no luck.
BTW I have a geared mini starter.
Ref pulse 1-5 is set at .58
6-9 set to 0
9-10 set to .50
11-16 set to 0
These setting worked great with the sick battery.
any thoughts, anybody
