WinALDL and 870 question

Hooked up WinALDL to the car for the first time today. The only thing that is showing any readings is the MW2 on the raw data tab. I pull up the dashboard and everything is zero. It looks like the it is communicating with the car but I get nothing. I only ran it for a minute at idle but I would think something would have changed, at least on the dashboard tab. Anyone have any ideas? What is MW2 anyway?

Did you use a 10k resistor between A and B?

I think so. I'll double check.

I wasn't using the 10k resistor. It is working fine now. Now I have to figure out what all these numbers mean. Are there any other programs that work with this cable and ecm?
