4l60E + HEI

I am looking for a GM ECM like a 730 that would run a tpi or similiar 8 injector HEI fuel injection but can also control my 4L60E tranny? Is there such an animal or am I better of losing the 4L60E in favor of a 7004R? I like LT1's but the optispark scares me off.

Might look at running one of the early truck PCMs.
While TBI, they don't know what injectors they're connected to. And I think some of them are selectable for TBI or TPI.

Gotta be brave courageous and bold at times...........LOL
Optispark is fine so long as you replace it once inna while.
There is/was/maybe a unit out to convert the Optimiss to the LS1 coil near plug setups. Try Bailey Eng..

try a 16171199,1619427 ecm out of a 95 tbi pickup. it can run 8 saturated injectors. it will run a 4l60e or 4l80e. youll have to check the dizzy but im pretty sure its pre vortech so it should be fine there. theres a few different program codes $0d and a few others match the code and pcm to the tranny.but im sure all the pre 95 non vortec 1/2 and 3/4 trucks use a convetional distrbutor. if not just match the dizzy with the pcm. but being these are tbi id imagine that there all batch or maybe a bank to bank bouncing off an internal 555 timer or the like.

Dumbish question.

Just to clarify, is there a 1619427 ECM or did you mean 16197427? I have found several of the latter but none of the former yet.
