I run nitrous and wanted to retard my timing while on the juice. I was just wondering if I were to change my stock bins base timing from 5.98 to 6.98 if this would actually retard the timing 1 deg accross the board? I know I could just go in and adjust my timing table appropriatley, but I was just wondering if this would do it as well. Also is this feesible because I will be at 100% TPS, what I mean is will the ecm still be taking values off of the prom?

 

You can take timing out under PE, and add fuel which would essentially be what you want, BUT when not on the bottle the car would slow down.
