Which knock sensor exactly for 749 code?

I bought a knock sensor for what seemed to be a 92 v8 camaro, and the knock sensor that they gave me is too small to be put into either of the heads on my 88 motor, did they give me the wrong knock sensor? or am i confused or what?

Knock sensor goes in the block down by the freeze plugs, on the 3rd Gen 305s/350s.

Drivers side gets the sending unit for the temp (gauges)
Pass side gets the sending unit for the secondary fan (if you have dual fans).
