Uses the soundcard as the input, as usual.

There is documentation for a DIY 10x probe signal buffer/amplifier as well.

Thats kinda cool, my laptop will is setup to boot to either linux or xp, I may have to try it out.

Cool, my laptop boots windows to do car stuff anyway.

Bill, there is a schematic on the site that I posted for a probe circuit that provides isolation so you don't fry your soundcard.
