Stay Alive Memory (SAM)

Can anyone explain what SAM is? I noticed that there are a couple coolant params that indicate when SAM is active. For the stock AUJP it begins at 197 F and ends at 220 F. What is it?

Also notice the parameter for the idle cell (cell 4 stock).

Briefly covered in this post: https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=221558

It allows two BLM cells to be saved during ignition off. One being the idle cell the other being a common cruise cell. If data has been saved then at the next ignition on those two cells in the BLM matrix will be loaded from the SAM cells. Else those two cells (like all the others) will be set to 128.

RBob.
