Ok, new questions for $3a
I wanted to change the following items with my ecm:
-I have changed the ring/pinion gears from 3.08 to 3.73 and added a T5 so I assume I will have to adjust the speedo.
-I want to kill the EGR circuit.
I know there's more but I can't think of it right now. My definition file is $3a.

For the speedo adjustment you will have to change the speedo gears in the tranmission tailhousing. There are two gears, a driven and a drive. A search of the tranny board will/should have additional info on which gears you need to use.
The only company I know of with tuning/editing software for that mask is Tunercat. However, as Grumpy mentioned can always upgrade the ECM & mask to the '165 & $6E.

Where would I get ahold of the 165? What vehicles came with them? Does the 165 offer me better control than the 302? Also, I have already purchased the definition file $3a, tunercat software, programmer and eraser so I have the necessary equipment to change the code but I lack the direction in which I need to go.

The '165 came in '86-'89 TPI f-bodys and along with some other vehicles.

So for example, if I wanted to disable the EGR, there are these to constants:
EGR on TPS%
EGR off TPS%
To disable the EGR, would I set the EGR on TPS as high as it goes and the EGR off TPS to as low as it goes?
EGR on TPS%
EGR off TPS%
