ALDL Cable

i just got a crappy labtop and i wanted to start datalogging, I was wondering where the cheapest place is to find a ALDL cable. I already tried to make one myself useing the instructions that can be found on this forum, but i couldnt get it to work. I know you can get the cables on ebay for around $40 but i want to know if there is anywhere else, or any people on this forum that sell them.

I think Craig Moates sells 'em. Check out AKM Cables on the internet too. I still have the first one I built...and broke the day after I built it.

I still have my Steve Ruse ALDL cable from a few years ago. I sold my Camaro so I'll sell it to anyone interested.

Probably because that harness set-up is only for the 160 baud rate data signal from pin "E" of the ALDL. It does not cover the 8192 baud rate data signal at pin "M" of the ALDL.
