Where is the chip located exactly?

chip (prom) location
its located inside the ecm (under the passenger side dash). when you pull the ecm out you will see a little cover, open that up (carefully) and the chip is right there. hope that helps

But how do I know which chip it is... if there are several? Also I know that it has already been upgraded once so it now has 25 hp more than as stock. If it's for example hypertech, tpis or something else, how can I tell?
