Question for you ecm test bench guys...
Will a GM ecm (or PCM) run on a test bench with just power and ground hooked up? At least enough to log data? Obviously it will have pretty much all the error codes going but that's ok for me now. I'm trying to delve into the world of flash memory with an 8051 PCM and Tuner Cat with an EE definition (LT-1). Looks like the way to figure it all out is to try to read the program on the bench and then put it back in.
