$58 tuning open loop idle/start

How are you tuning open loop Start? Such as 20+ deg Celsius Before system goes to warm engine AFR. What are you adjusting, Table 54(crank AF vs. Coolant temp? Am I missing something? My Initial bin Used a .96 for BPC vs. Desired EGR. The car started great with minimal knock, but very rich in closed loop and required a lot of adjustment everywhere else. In the second series of chips I started over with bpc vs. egr .91 in closed loop. It still required a lot of adjustments just not as bad. It is close everywhere except the starting conditions mentioned above.

Thanks

First I dropped the IAC intial settings down.
The the open loop AFRs, and the closed throttle AFRs.
Then the try leaning down the crank AFRs.
Then repeat the above until I like how it starts.

With the really large intial IAC counts you have to run lots of fuel. Dropping them down seems to have really worked in my car.

Again, notes help in noting trends in what an engine likes.

Sounds like a good process.

Thanks for the help.
