i got a burn 1 , with tuner pro rt ,
how do i copy my stock 86 chip, i am trying to send a copy to a friend who is trying to help me modify it
the chip is 16040581 796 k 8619
then there is a sticker that says delco aum 8993
please help

The important thing to remember is the “AUM 8993” this is the BCC “Broadcast Code” that in our world we call the BIN file.
To download the contents of your PROM you can use the software from Craig Moats “ECM852” just do a “Dump”.
What you tray to achieve will be very difficult. “Distance Tuning” it will take hundreds of burnings till you get the best BIN file for your car and that is difficult to achieve from a distance.
What you can do is send to your friend the file with “Data Logging” and he will advice you what to do with Tuner Pro RT to change your BIN file.

my 86 305 tpi is not stock anymore , comp cam xe 212 218 449 456 112 lsa ,, ported stock 416 heads with bigger 1.94 valves, new comp springs, 3 angle valve job , headers ,
still the stock fuel regulater , i would guess the car is running super lean,
