data logging

I have been making minor changes to my bin for a while now such as idle and fan temp modifications. I have an 89 TPI using 6E. Over the past 2 years many expensive things have been breaking on my car and I have just finally been trying to get some data logs. I have been using moates software and I finally got it to link but I am just having trouble using the program. I was wondering what everyone is using for datalogging that may be a little more user friendly. I wouldn't mind paying for something up to like 50 dollars but I am a prety much broke college student. What are the options for data logging. Thanks for any help. -John

Once you get it to link up, all you do is hit the #4 key and then hit the L key to log the data. Once you are done logging, hit the L key again to stop logging and that will save it to a csv file. You can the just drag and drop that csv file onto a word spredsheet or any spreadsheet to observe the data in an organized format. Hope that helps.

Thanks I got one data log to work but I just thought that there was a way to be driving around and have the BLM cells filling up for different conditions and things such as that. The other screens also never seem to respond fo things like the tps percentage and things like that. I will work with it some more time tomorrow to try to make some progress. Thanks -John
