Scoggin-Dickey doesn't like to Tune?

"According to Scoggin-Dickey’s Nickey Fowler, they performed this test using stock ’87 factory F-car fuel and spark curves with slightly larger 24 lb/hr injectors."
What a disapointment. I would have kicked some **** if I were working at Scoggin-Dickey and found them using stock tables on an engine with better heads and an Lt4 hotcam. To just through bigger injectors at a problem to solve the high engine speed lean problem but then suggest that an exhaust system would give them more torque.... well what about shifting the VE curve to bring the engine AFRs up from what is probably a really rich low to mid range. I think I understand why most Hot Rodders don't like fuel injection....

I can see why they did it. So that folks buying the manifold will get xxxx results without programming. But still they should have found somone to reprogram it to show what would happen if it was tuned well.
