$8D cranking fuel question

There is a table at L83C7 in the ANHT which is called "CRANK FUEL PW MULT vs REF PULSES 1-16". The table has a value of 1 for the first 2 pulses, then .5 for a pulse then zeros for a while then a couple more 1's then zeros. Does this mean that during cranking you only get 3 pulses of fuel, then after a bit a couple more pulses? I think I need a little more cranking fuel and it looks like I could add just 1 more fuel pulse each time. Would it work?

I'd try looking for the temp correction for the cranking PW, or something other then that, those are huge corrections. It's easy to flood an engine during crank. There might be some *fuel after X number of pulses*.
If it's just a long crank you have, that's good in a way since it gets the oil pressure up before starting.
