Hi. I'm wanting to upgrade my fuel system - pump and injectors. Looks like Walbro has reputable 190 and 255 pumps, but I am checking the wreckers for a 454 tbi unit.

My question is, what year(s) of 454 tbi truck is the most desirable to snag the tbi off of. I noticed on diy-efi that "earlier" model 454 trucks use 90lb injectors, and later models use 80# injectors. What years are the "earlier" models - or does it matter at all? I would ultimately like to make 300-325 fwhp and I don't want to be having to upgrade injectors again.

(I plan on burning a chip to compensate for the bigger injectors)
