1227730 and injector bank sequence
I'm running a RamJet 350 using a 1227730. The Ramjet originally used the injectors in the following order:
1, 4, 6, and 7.
and the other side
2, 3, 5, and 8
I wired up the 1227730 and I just left the sequence as it was. Is this a concern? Should rearrange the harness so it follows the 1227730 order?
I'm using and Autoprom and have it running fairly well, but not quite right. Before I keep messing with rewriting the PROM I thought I'd ask. Thanks.

There's no problem leaving it the way you have it, since all 8 injectors fire simultaneously with a '730.
The unusual wiring with the RamJet setup is said to be a carryover from it being a marine ECM -- it's wired so as to be able to limp back to shore running as a 4 cylinder if necessary -- even though AFAIK that capablity isn't enabled on the automotive version.

Thanks, I thought they fired as banks...
separate banks, left and right that is.
Thanks for providing the reasoning too; it's always good to have a basis.

It's 4 and 4 so as to,
a) have be able to have 2 fuses, and some redundancy.
b) optimise the loads on the traces on the Printed Circuit Board
in the ecm.
All 8 injectors fire at the same time, thur just one transistor. There's nothing bank to bank, in the way the injectors operate.
