Prominator question

I am just finishing up getting my headers and cat back installed and getting ready to start tuning. After extensive reading on this board, I've decided to go with the Prominator instead of swapping chips. Since I won't have a chip reader/burner, how do I get a copy of my original bin to flash into the Prominator. I have a 1991 RS with a 305, so I need the $61 bin. Can I download a copy of the bin from somewhere?

I'm also intereseted in any feedback and/or opinions about Prominator. I'm a one-car-guy, so I think this will be the ticket.

The Prominator is a really nice piece. You should enjoy it just fine.

For a 'starter' binary, check my website under www.moates.net/fileman/ and you should be able to find what you need.

Have fun!

Good choice -- I've been real happy with it since my first bin. And the bin switcher is most helpful when tuning.

Talk to Bill regarding a starting point, -- he was good enough to load up my prominator with a handful of custom bins (I sent him) before he sent it back to me.

I'm happy with the Prominator as well. My TA has been running off of it for a couple of months now (I put it in so I could add TunerPro support and I never took it out!).

All positive feedback about the Prominator, and it sounds like Bill can help get the bins loaded so I don't have to download them from somewhere else. I see they offer three different switches for selecting bins. Looks like the Moates EX rotary is the nicest of the three. Any opinions? Also, any feedback on Prominator Standard vs Pro. I think I'll save the extra $100 and go with the standard. Time to crack open the piggy bank and place the order.
