Questions??

I know this isn't Directly DIY Prom Related but many of you deal with custom wiring that you have modified and some one should be able to help I hope, I posted on the electronis board but no one knows anything about this.

Ok I am looking into the different options on wiring harness Sleeving, I want different than the oversized, bulky, gaudy Flex Loom that ends up cracking and decentergrating. Many new cars are using some type of woven sleeving that conforms to the correct size, is more flexable, better apperance, ect. I am wanting opinions on where to get these and difference on different one, and if anybody else has used them.

In my search I found a cool Place for info but can not find a place to buy it. I want to go with something like TwistTube 2420 that is in the link below, any help would be great Thanks.

Del City has lots of wire harness accessories, including woven loom.

Enjoy!

That's where I got my red sleeve for my harness.
I would suggest (after doing mine) that you double up the sleeve when installing it. Slide it over like normal then secure the end and go back over backwards.
It looks better and has two times the resistance to wires being damaged. I used electrical tape to secure the ends to the wire bundles then put colored heat shrink tube around it.
It came out nice but since this was my first time making a harness from scratch, could have been better. Be careful with the nylon stuff, it is heat resistant but will melt on an exhaust.
The biggest headach is having one end completely free to slide the sleeve over the bundles. It gets interesting at certain points and sometimes you need to cut holes in the side to make branch circuits.

I've delt with them in the past for a few things, quick shipping and good prices. I think they have what you're looking for. I was gonna go that route, but it was a bit to costly for me
