It will save the log as a text (txt) file. Search for a file ending in txt on the date you logged the data. Mine usually wind up back in my WinALDL folder.
For data analysis, I open the text files using MS Excel. Be sure to change the files of type to "text files" in the "open file" window. The file needs to be opened as a "Tab delimted file". Or you can open the file using notebook, but it is usually too large. Excel works fine and I'm able to graph and analyze the data easily as I use Excel often at work.
BLM is a value indicating if the computer is adding fuel to or taking fuel away from the motor.
A search and subsequent reading will set you right and answer all your questions.

Also, once you have clicked the "datalog" tab you will need to click the "Start" button. Then click "stop" when you are finished.
