question about adaptors for 91 tbi ecm

Im getting into prom tunning and have a quick question, on moates.net there have 2 tbi adaptors for tbi ecms that allow you to user the Flash chips such as the AT29C256 and 27SF512. however there are 2 with differant spacing and i jsut need to knwo what one to order.

1 ) G2 Memory Adapter: 0.45" Spacing

2) G2 Memory Adapter: 0.6" Spacing

i know what chips im getting already (C2 SST 27SF512 Chip) and S2 Aries 28-pin ZIF Socket so this is im sure this is a quick answer for someone.

thanks

Off the top of my head, the one with .6" spacing is the one you want. Easy way to tell is just to measure.

If the plastic socket for the prom holder has two square openings in it, they're about .25", then it's probably a .6"

You want to measure the distance between the legs of the socket where it solders into the PCB.
