Curious what my BLM's are, is there a handheld scanner just to read this?
Hi guys, I do not have a data cable to datalog my TPI w/ my laptop yet. I was reading another post in the TPI forum, in which someone was talking about reading the BLM values with a handheld scanner. I'm really curious where my BLMS are, since the long duration flat tappet cam in my 327 is causing a very rich smelling idle even w/ the fuel pressure backed of to 44 psi at 0 vacuum. I always had this overrich idle when the engine was carbed, I think its a characteristic of this stupid cam. However, I'd like to see if my BLM's are off the chart so I don't crap up my new 4 wire heated O2 sensor. If there is an inexpensive handheld diagnostic scanner (like the Actron brand makes) that will actually let me read the integrator values, I'll go buy one.
THanks
