temp sensor?

When datalogging through ALDL cable, I get readings from my temp sensor. Does that mean its reading from the intake manifold sensor or the head/guage sensor? Trying to verify if I have a failed manifold temp sensor. Open loop issue and I heard a rumor that a failed temp sensor can cause that.

The ecm doesn't share sensors, it uses it's own.

The coolant temp the ecm *sees* is the one on the intake manifold.

Stick to doing diagnostics (as much as possible), rumors are for those that just like replacing parts.
