Synch vs. Asynch 7730?
I actually did a search this time. I found this:
https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...t=asynchronous
But I don't understand it.
Basically,
1) Does the 7730 change Synchronous injection to Asynchronous (or vice versa)?
2) If so, please let me know when (in engine terms, not code or computer terms).
3) Please let me know what table(s) seem to affect synchronous to asynchronous firing of the injectors in the code.
THANK YOU!!! :hail:

Lets keep this to the $8D code as there are 12 or so masks that are GM run on the '730.
1) No.
2) N/A
3) N/A
Cranking, DFCO exit, and TPS AE are async mode. MAP AE is either sync, async, or both, didn't look at the code long enough to figure it out.
For main fueling there is double fire and single fire. Once the PW gets short the code will switch to single fire mode. Both are sync mode injection.
RBob.
