Tuning 6E

I know this question has probably popped up a thousand times, and I did read through quite a few posts, but I just wanted to be sure...

In $32 code there is an injector PW table to adjust the fuel delivery VS. load factor...

I'm not seeing that in $6E. From what I understand, in order to adjust fuel delivery, I have to adjust the MAF tables. Is that right?

So....if that's the case, if I need to go richer, do I increase the value in the airflow table? Or decrease it?

Thanks,

-HD

Yes, MAF tables.

MAF tables essentially turn a voltage (or digital count) into an airflow value. The computer knows the voltage (or counts) of the MAF and uses the table to lookup the corresponding airflow value.

The first thing to do is figure out either what MAF voltage/count or what airflow you're at under the rich/lean condition. Then find that voltage/count (or airflow, depending on how you're referencing it in the table) in the table. If the car is lean at this point, increase the value in the table at this point. It increases the flow value associated with the count/voltage, thereby increasing fuel and enrichening the mixture.

Thats it in a nutshell.
