Accelleration Enrichment and a 383
Okay,
Since I have very low miles on the fresh bullet and have yet to place the wideband into the exhaust(t'row nite its going in,have a couple hundred on it by then) I was wondering what kind of trends other people here have found on AE functions when they increased the cubic inches, assuming they already tuned their VE tables for 128?
I understand the tables, even the inverse ones like in the sticky.
Just curious to what other folks who upped the cubes have found.
I already know its lean when you give it any real amount of throttle :-) The knock counts and the INT tell me that.
Anything tending to be a trend or something out of the ordinary when upping the cubes?
Its still a 383
vortec heads/tpi intake
headers
converter
mild cam 216/221
Trying to get the creative juices and thouhgt process' flowing before I have to actually do it.
thanks and later
Jeremy

depending on cam and intake and exhuast the quantitys can vary widely. the biggest issue ive run into to date is to much delta map AE. i usually disable it till im done working on the basic throttle transient then i add it back in to cover converter lock up and sudden load chnges that dont incur tps movement like an upshift at WOT which is fiarly seldom in terms of Ae requirement and less so on a maunal car. with automatics i see a trend for increased Ae most likely due to the intertial load of the converter but thats an assumption. also it coull be due to the higher loads placed on the motor during transient states. then again every app is different.
