S_AUJP SA and Vortecs
Has anyone tried running the spark tables from Traxion's SUJP with Vortec heads? I'm running it now and it seems to work well. I had to take a degree or two out at WOT but other than it seems ok. I haven't done a lot of testing with it yet though. From the reading I've done on here Vortecs seem to like a lot of timing down low and not much up high. Looking at the SA table from SAUJP seems to reflect that. Any thoughts about the viability of using it. I know tweaking will be required with any prebuilt SA table but it seems to work well.
Thanks,
David

ironically, i'm working on that same thing right now. I can't seem to get my top end where I like it though, just feels like i'm missing something. bottom end does like a lot of timing though.

I'm building a vortec 350 with TPIS miniram III now. I'm starting with the same bin file.
I'd like to know your progress.
My engine is back in car, but the car is about 6 months from driving. Lots of body work to do.

I pulled about 5* of timing from all the tables and started from there. I find my motor doesn't want a lot of timing anywhere.
I *think* I'm running a total of 29* at wot, and perhaps 33-35* at part throttle
I really don't know what I'm doing when it comes to programing, but the car likes what I've done to it so far

Search under vortec and timing table, should get u to it.
I know Rbob has posted the iron headed Impala LT1 tables(kissing cousing to vortec heads and which there were derived from for the most part)
I'm not sure if we ever got a table from the 96-98 trucks though?
later
