How warm should my computer get?

I rencently converted my TBI computer to use the 29C256 flash chips after a head swap. The engine runs fine with the new chip, but it seems my computer housing gets warmer than I think it should. Anything I could have screwed up here? Bad ground inside the housing? Bad ground at the motor? Short somewhere?

They do get very hot from normal operation. All of the transistors inside are sinked to the body so it should get really warm.

Thanks a lot guys. I was worried that something was wrong, but it sounds normal from your descriptions.

It looks like I'll have to come up with another excuse to purchase one of those cool IR thermometers from Sears.
