I use the Flash & Burn software that is also ment for the BURN1. Make sure with the sf512 chips that you erase them BEFORE writing too them. How I do it; I erase them, do a blank check, then program, then verify. It only adds seconds to do the above and this way I know a chip is good. The sf512 is an eeprom, NOT a flash prom. Flash proms like the 29C256 can be programmed without having to erase but they cost a dollar more and aren't as big.
Use the XDF select up in the tool bar and pick an xdf that matches your mask.
Do the same for the bin selection.
If you don't see the AP as attached in the lower left.
Then select tools and "Initialized Attached Hardware"
Then in tools select Moates I/O.
You should be able to get it from there.
I don't have my AP here so I can't go any farther.
I can't "say" what buttons to push.

Help
I was reminded recently that there is a nice "help" file within TP
it is working now . the driver was not working
it was being renamed automatically and it took
a while for me to figure out . then it took a while
to find a mask code to work on a 7747 ecu . then
a minute to figure out dip switch positions on the
auto prom unit . then a minute to get the start and
stop position right on the chip and buffer settings .
luckily there is a lot of info out there in different
places if you look for it enough to get things going .
thanxs for help guys

Maybe post your procedure here now for someone else's future reference, if you feel like it.
