ALDL Connector ?
I have a new to me '95 Chevy truck and I wanted to hook up my Autoprom to do some basic diagnostics etc.. Based on my research the '95 is a OBD1.5 and is really obd1 with an obd2 sized connector...
I realize i can simply clip/pin on the wires, but i have a nice ALDL cable and interface with my Moates kit..
Can I simply get an older ALDL connector and rewire mine under the dash to match the older pinout ?
And for those who care.... my jeep TBI conversion is progressing slow.. Id say slower than expected, but im not on a timeline
Shortened harness is in place but got side tracked with new seats, beefing the tranny mount and crossmember and a recient decision to revamp the older fuse block to the Camero block to make use of additional/discreete fuses for the ECM stuff.
Thanks for any help..

Mike,
For your 95, I have the 'CABL2'. If you want to swap your CABL1 piece that comes with the APU1 for a CABL2, that's no problem at all. Or, you can pick up a CABL2 from me for like $30. That'll at least keep from hacking stuff up.

Craig i truly appreciate the offer, as luck would have it when i finally crawled under the dash its got the older/smaller connector, the truck has a 2/95 build date so that probably explains that..
I need the smaller aldl hood to fit the jeep project..
Thanks
