corvette spark map.

im looking for a stock corvette spark map from a vette with aluminum heads, i hear its more agressive and would be a good starting point for me and my first burn.

i found a file called 89vettes 6e.bin

would this be the one im looking for? thanks!

That file might work. You should see 45ish timing in the cruise area and mid 20's in the WOT area.

A word of warning: don't put a lot of faith in this or any other timing map. I have the real vette heads on my 350 and the vette timing map knocked pretty much at every load point except idle... so much for a good starting point eh? I know you've got to start somewhere, maybe you'll have better luck than I did.

Sorry, but no, for the new guy you should start conservatively, and work from there. Starting with an agressive chip can lead you to totally missing what actually makes the engine happy. Too rich, with too much timing will almost always feel fast by the buttometer, but will knock the corners off the pistons.

haha, look at this lazy guy trying to jump ahead.
You're just as bad as eric who was beggin' for a bin and got his thread locked.
Every car wants something different man, you gotta start slow and retest lots of times to find the right direction.
