I'm going to put a

95 lt1 cam
95 lt1 intake
Possibly up the Cr alittle bit and go with hooker super comp headers.

In your sig you say 350, is it a 305 or 350?.

For a 305 that'd be PLENTY of cam, if not too much depending on how you use the car.

You do know the LT1 intake takes machining to install a distributor in it, don't you?.

It will take tuning to get it running right.

FWIW, I'd stick to running better matched components, ie if your going to use all 350 parts, then bolt them on a 350.

thats a different motor i'm building in my sig. This 305 is just alittle treat for myself. So yes i'm talking about a 305 not a 350 in this case.

Yes i know the intake takes machining, i'll make jig set ups and i've done a lot of reading on how to get it to work.

So after i install everything the car will run like crap huh. Like it will stall and sputter and act un-drivable?

I have a computer and have just started reading up on proms and burning chips with the pocket programmer 150$ one.

Most say it takes like 6 months to get it right. So does this mean even if i was to buy a pocket programmer i would have a dead car for months.

Dead car?, I doubt that.
There is a steep learnging curve to learn PROM tuning, but there's only been a few that have just walked away from it.

Not to mention *right* varies temendously by person. I consider the oem calibrations to generally be trash, but I've been at this for a while.

In a way tuning, has become my therapy. I just do it to see just how good I can get things.

so then i should be alright for the mean time untill i get the time and money to learn about prom and burning chips? Hopefully the motor will run fine. But i'm sure not to its full potential untill i learn how to tune with this program and stuff.
