I have no idea what $1F is.
Perhaps if you posted a bit more info about what $1F is, a code snippet, an application, something, anything; someone might reply.

what units is "spark time out" measured in? degrees? ms?
i have no idea what it is, but the more info posted, perhaps someone can make an educated speculation.
or at least a suggestion to upgrade to 32/32b or even 6e.
Went from 32b to 6e in an 88 IROC last night, nice improvement for sure.
anyways let us know what units its in, etc.
does TC describe it exactly as "spark time out" with no other words or anything at all? i mean, a lot of things that affect spark could be timed out depending on the strategies in use on the 85 ecm / 1f.

A guess would be an afterstart spark adder that gets "timed-out" (decayed) depending on ctemp.
