don't know where to start
i am really confused about all of this and i am going to need to reprogram my computer. seeing as i will be running a tpi 455 buick i am working on using most of the stock components where do i start? i do not know much of the stuff i am reading so i need to learn everything about this. thank you and your help will be very appreciated

Well,
Great big "Tuning Guide" up top just became your new best friend.
Just go thru it, especially the beginners articles at the beginning lol
Then follow thru to logging/emulating/programmers section and then on to the ecm type you are using 730/165/749/etc.
Once u get that settled on and read, you can post specific questions about what you trying to do on your own combo.
Also when u do begin to ask specific questions, please let us know what your actually working on. Says you going to be running a 455 with factory style efi. Is it TBI, SD, MAF, etc?
What ecm and mask are u using? etc?
