There are no colors on here. Just orange terminal posts like on my stock 4.3L ones.

The part numbers are GM 5235132*RPD 1075 GM


Trying to figure out what to set my BPW constant at, and it's hard to know for sure till you find the flow!!!!

Found this snip a while back, forget where.
They were made on 1/07/(85 or 95) Judging by the fact that most newer injectors are stamped with a 17xxxxx number they were made in 1985.

I would try the 61 lb/hr, since they came out of a 350.

This is a good question. Not long ago someone on the TBI board asked a similar question. It came down to where the GM part #'s are being kicked around, but not the etched numbers on the injectors.

As Fast355 posted the 4 digit code is a date code. And the RPD also as he posted. What I did tonight was to pull some injectors out and note the numbers on them. I tried to get the standard 350 (ORG/BLK) numbers, but, they are mounted in a TBI on a vehicle out in the dark. I'll get those and some BBC injectors later this weekend.

Here are the numbers I pulled from a 2.8L and a 5.0L:

2.8L (colors unknown):

GM5235130*RPD


5.0L GRN/WHT

GM5235279*RPD

As noted these are the numbers etched on top of the injectors. When looking for the paint codes they are located on the top angled pieces of the centers.

I have the following sitting in front of me right now.

Yellow/Blue 4.3 Injectors from a 1991 Astro that had 305 Injectors put into it.

GM5235203*RPD-4191

I also have a pair of 305 Injectors from an 1989 Chevy Van 5.0 V8. GRN/WHT color code

GM5235209*RPD-0109

I will check the 68#s on my G20 tomorrow.

I will check the ones from my old 2.8 TBI assembly here in a minute. R-bob, I think I still have the color code on those.



Notice this is the TBI assembly off the Astro, you can just barely make out the Yellow/Blue on the injectors.

Well, I looked and NO color code left on the 2.8 ones.

Those are the standard 350 injectors and flow about 61#/hr. Decent injector and can take a lot of pressure.

They end in ACR as they are over the counter GM injectors.

I list these as they are used in the newer BBC ('94-95 or so) and are used at 30psi. At the nominal 12psi they flow the 46#/hr. Watch out for them when buying a BBC TBI unit.

Bob you mentioned in the above quote that the 61's will take alot pressure. How much will they take and what does that translate to in psi in the end?

I ran a set at 30-32 psi for about 2 years, no issues. From tests that Walt Sherwin did I'd say they would be good to nearly 70psi. I don't think I'd run the stock TBI unit at that pressure though.

By running them at 30 psi they will flow 96 #/hr. Which using two of them is good for 330HP at 85% DC and .5 BSFC.

I have been running the 9C1 68# at 28-32 PSI for the past few months with no negative effects, yet.

My 4.3L ones have the same PN as fast stated:

Yellow/Blue (no color physically on mine)
GM 5235203*RPD / 6209
And they did come out of an '89

I had them flowed and ultrasonically cleaned and here is what the paperwork says:

It was with an ASNU Injector Bench

The readings I was given after matching them were:

Automatic Flow Test: (73)
Flow Rate: (92cc)
Commecnts: 2 Bar P.S.I. - 15seconds.

So I understand it was measured at 29psi for 15seconds. But it couldn't actually only flow 92cc in 15seconds.. That's 236cc in 60seconds which is 236cc/min

This calculator says that 236cc/min is 22.48lbs/hr.

But if I convert 92cc from 29psi to 12psi... that givesme 59. So that sounds right about where they should be 55#/hr-61#/hr

Ideas? Is the 92cc flow rate, just the cc/min already? I hope the 73 isn't that, because that'd mean I've got 45#ers again....

there was RED the diameter of a ballpoint pen... on the top of the injector between the terminals. (could be orange)








EDIT: Just set the constant to 135 with these injectors and it was so lean it wouldn't run. Put the chip I had in there before that was *okay* still lean AE and lower rpm high map.... and it runs about the same.

Looks like these aren't 5.7L injectors.

Those are stock 305 55#/hr injectors. GM usually used a BPC of 134.

If you use them on a 350 the BPC would be 150. The issue here being that they will not provide enough fuel at mid to upper RPM.
