tunnerpro rt/ostrich any good? pros/cons

tunnerpro rt/ostrich any good? pros/cons

hi i have been dataloggin for a bit now using ecm852 with a old laptop...i just got a newer USB laptop and i want to get tunner pro rt and the ostrich..how do you like the ostrich and tunnerpro and is it worth it? is it user friendly? i dont know much about burnin yet but im very willing to learn!! any info/help is needed thanks! also what else is needed for this to run and work on my motor?

Tunerpro and ostrich is a nice combo. I went to it this past fall, and it makes tuning so much easier. You can dial in idle in a few minutes, and with a partner get most of your VE work done in an afternoon.

is this a good thing to use if its your first time tunnin at all? i dotn know much at all about tunnin yet...but im lookin to learn. not sure if this is the best setup to start with!!

Yes!! Its much easier than the traditional way of pulling and erasing chips and getting all messed up about offsets etc..
The 'O' is truely plug-n-play-n-burn rubber..
And you will not get better service than what Craig provides if you run into problems.

I'm interested in getting one of theset too, but I'm wondering, do I need to get an EEPROM for this to work right or does my regular eprom work fine?
