target air fuel ratio
my question is if i add or subtract fuel from the VE table the ECM will simply add BLM's to keep the AFR at 14.7:1 right??
... And if so how do i change the ecm's target AFR. I am using CATS tuner V.2.08 And have a tbi 8746 ECM

Target AFR will also be nothing close to true AFR

TC told me that you can alter the A/F somewhat, a little, in the constants. it is the stoich A/F in constants. i have no emmishions so i moved it to 14.3 for CL. now i am running OL as an experiment 1/2 of last season at 122-126 blms in tune and on WB it is like 14.00-14.500 cruising and 13.00/1 at idle. seems to like a rich idle. idle exhaust has no odor and is clean. tip in improved too. overall drivability is better. fuel mileage may not be.
