another one trying to tune $59

hey guys i'm running the $59 32k bin with wideband, i have 30lb/hr injectors on my 305, i'm using the ads from nwstp.com the 2&3bar ads, the idle injector pw are around 5-6ms is something wrong with the ads? i thought i read that somewhere, i'm using a bpc of 111.00 right now, the mixture seems to be okay, i'm waiting to recieve my wideband o2, but 5-6ms doesnt sound right, also why does $58 have soo much IAC stuff, my idle is not smooth, i got it better but it's hunting about 75 RPM, i need to get this tuned for my procharger thats sitting in the box or it's back to $8D and an FMU

I'm pretty sure the bpc vs egr should be 138 for 30 lb injectors. it doesn't matter what the pulse width is as long as the AFR is good. you don't have the wideband yet, so... are you using the stock O2 with some sort of wideband patch? could that be messing up some readings? If your WB patch is the same I have, it doesn't change tuning, just the datalogging file includes the WB readings.

the stock typhoon bin has a bpc of 130 which is for 30lb/hr injectors, i'm way rich with that setting, i used the bpc calc on moates to come up with my current value, i'm using the stock o2 sensor for the time being, i'm just focusing on my idle right now. i'm using the $59 bin off of moates, i guess it has the EGR fixed, it's upped from 16k to 32k and it has the flags to use wideband o2's which is just for the datalogs i would assume. i'll try the 130 bpc again, another question should i leave the ve vs rpm table alone and just change the values in the closed throttle ve table?

it seem to run alot better at idle by lowering the ve vs rpm from 30.86 to 20.50

There is a bug in the ADS. I was whining about it a few months ago. The fix is to change the ADS file values. Do a search for my username and $58. The complete fix should come up.

I had a reported 5-6ms BPW at idle..that is really in the 1.5 to 2.0 ms range.

Is that $59 bin released to the public?

Yes,
It's part of the CL WB code requirement thread I thought.
If not, a search on 1981TTA & WB code should turn it up.
It's on Moates I think.

I don't know if this was fixed with your VE change. If not, have you tried zeroing out the idle RPM error spark tables? I know these tables have caused problems on other's vehicles, too.

You can find it on Moates site under the "Custom Binaries" section. The full name is $59_05202005.zip. But, I think you only see _05202005.zip in the listing. If/when you try to download it, you'll see the full name show up.

All the goofy math was posted because I was new to TP4.0 and didn't know what I was doing with it. I won't upload it because I didn't create the file so I don't feel I have the right to upload it. Send me a PM I will see what I can do.

F88 and F89. Zero out both of these and see if it helps your idle.

I am going through the ads and xdf on nwstp.com. I hopefully I will have those bugs worked out of them. If you see anymore like that.. please post it. We took the base one that came with Tunerpro and have been adding/fixing things that are in there. I am sure there are more. even when you put in the informachine from the ds definition file (think it is 160.ds) some of the values are still incorrect. I guess I will have to look at some logs in datamaster and compare them to what the ads says they are in tunerpro.

The divide calc in the ads slips by people a lot I think.
And doing the whole ads is very time consuming.
