I got my car running decently a few years ago but now I'd like to get it dialed in a little better. My approach before was to log data with winALDL, copy the BLM's into an Excel spreadsheet, paste current VE into the spreadsheet, crunch it and compute new VE's, reformat and paste into tunerPRO, reburn prom, repeat.

Now I have a Moates Ostrich and tunerpro RT. It seems to me that since all the data and control is in the same PC, this process could be almost totally automated. At the best, you just hook up the PC in "tune mode", drive around for a few hours and it's all done for you. More realistically, drive around for a while, pull over and click "update" to tweak the VE based on BLM's.

Is anything like this possible yet? Or should I do it the old fashioned way (minus the reburn since I have the Ostrich)? TIA

That sounds like a neat idea tog et you close, but alas, we don't have that. Have you checked out VEmaster? It sounds more automated than your spreadsheet method....
