VE table question - Acceleration vs cruising

So having had to start from scratch after ironing out my system voltages (https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/diy-...make-sure.html)....

I'm noticing something peculiar...

When I accelerate through the RPM range of ~2000 to 3500 rpm, I have the VE tables set where it feels very strong by seat-of-the-pants feel. Integrator seems like I have the right values set (w/o entering into PE mode).

However, when I'm cruising at high load up a hill and hitting those same high MAP values, the BLMs drop down to ~112-114.

I'd like to have it balanced properly, but if I tune for high-load cruising and lean out the high-MAP cells in the VE table, the acceleration suffers. Truth be told, we're talking about pretty minor variations, but just noticeable enough for me to want to fix it.

Is there something else I should I be looking at for the fueling during the transient passes through those RPM and MAP cells? Such that I maintain 128 BLM at cruise, but still get the right fueling during acceleration?

My AE delta MAP seems to be already set correctly based on feel, plus the AE duration doesn't last long enough to do what the VE tables are doing (at least in my not-completely-knowledgable estimation).

Re: VE table question - Acceleration vs cruising

Most likely the VE is high is that area and is acting like AE when accelerating. Maybe reduce the VE enough to get about 118 - 120 on the BLM in steady state then see how it is on accel.
