OK. my 7747 is HAM'd to adapt 7747 to the stock 84 vette harness connectors. worked beautifully by the way! i heard there was a a small roadblock testing the EBL work that was performed on ECU when HAM'd.

looking to do the change but wondering if that minor obstacle has been overcome?

also one more please. planning for the future. can anyone recommend an ECU that accepts the EBL that will run the 700 cfm 4 injector Holley TBI. the attraction of Holley unit iis the sequential opening of the butterflies. i will presume the injectors are also sequential. comments please on that one!

 

No problem with the EBL and a HAM equip'd ECM. I had an entirely incorrect perception of what a HAM adaptor was. Once I saw one it was a matter of making a C3 to X-Fire ECM adaptor cable. No issues at all.

The other item worth mentioning is that the EBL boards are tested before being shipped and/or installed in an ECM. We have a bed-of-nails (BON) fixture along with firmware and software designed for testing. So they are all tested prior to shipment. Then any ECM that is converted by us is tested prior to and after the EBL conversion (prior to just to be sure a bad ECM is not being converted).

My 4 TBI injector ECM conversion is still under wraps. . . (sorry, can't comment).
