Mangus, I have a request..

I use a '165 ecm for my '88 GTA 5.7 and have a Prominator and am a paying TunerPro RT user.

I can connect to my aldl and watch the engine in either Moates DOS 851 with my old (and about to fall apart) Win 98 laptop, or with TunerPro RT on my newer Win 2000 Pro laptop.

Note for those that don't know---the Moates DOS program will not work on anything newer than Win 98.

I'm still very early in the learning process and have difficulty in knowing what LV8 column I'm in. Help, anyone?

The Craig Moates old DOS ecm851 free program had the LV8 listed in the critical values.

Would it be possible to have the LV8 listed in your updated version (soon to be out, right?) of TunerPro RT when monitoring the engine?

Thanks,
jms

Where isn't it listed? Take a close look at the "Values" list. If you want it in the dash, right click on one of the gauges and select it from the menu that pops up.

I found the LV8 when using my AKXY bin (my original 1988 GTA 350 tpi f-body bin), the 32B xdf, and the 6E ads.

The LV8 is not there (that I can find) if using the AKXY bin, the 32B xdf, and the 160 ads, which, of course, was what I was using.

I was under the impression, in order to use the pre-1989 bins, that I had to use 32B xdf AND a 160 baud ads.

Is that info incorrect?

Thanks for your help and your hard work on TunerPro.

You are correct, it is not in the 160 baud ADS. If it's outputted in the stream, you can add it to the ADS. The source information is in A059.DS, which can be found at ftp://diy-efi.org/pub/gmecm/ALDLstuff.zip
