what time table does the 7747 computer use to start engine? does it start at 400 rpms (21 degrees) plus the value of "startup spark added", or just the main spark map.

 

info on my setup base timing is set at 10 degrees, spark map starts at 16 degrees, ive been setting my "startup spark added" but not much difference.

 

Cranking and running until the 'engine run RPM' is reached is at the base timing.

so, its just "base" used to start the engine, and once it starts it uses the spark map plus "startup spark added"?

 

Is the startup spark biased with some value like the coolant compensation table is? Or is it just added to the main spark table?

 

If you mean CRANKING spark, it's JUST base timing, and absolutely nothing else.

STARTUP (after rpm is greater than 400 rpm) has a startup spark adder, and coolant vs load adder (biased against it's offset), and main spark table. If your xdf is set-up properly, it's just add the 3 numbers together.
