250 knock counts bad?

weird thing tonight iw as logging and played around a bit and my knock counts jumped up to around 140 and later while cruising it jumped up again to 250! if i can figure how to post this datamaster recording to let others view, can someone please check this out for me? from looking at the chart, i can see that maybe its do to running too lean at that particular time? because the engine is only turning about 2500-3000 rpm but my blms are running around 150-160! my LV8 is running between 100-130 and inj bpw is from aruond 5 and dips down to 2.5 ish and such. but the DC is only showing 12-15% the whole time. anything else i can add to this to see why i got a spike of knock counts?

I had a time when I noticed my knock counts go nuts and started to climb. I couldn't hear anything yet I noticed the knock count just "adding" continuously.

So, I took it easy and drove home. By the time I got home, I could start to hear the knock and it turned out to be a problem in my valve train.

Bottom line, a high knock count that keeps "increasing" and wraps around may be an indicator of a mechanical problem.
