Has anybody tried out Free Scan by Andy Whittaker? I found it at andywhittaker.com It looks pretty cool, but I havn't been able to make it work with my AKM cable.

Gotta hit that "Force Data" button several times to kick-start the ALDL into sending the stream. The number of times it takes varies, I find 5-10 usually gets it started.
Watch the input/output data counters after each push, they'll start incrementing when it starts.
