Prominator/Lockup Converter
I was wondering if there is a way to lockup my converter at a certain mph using my Prominator? I was told that I will get better ETs and MPH at the 1/4 mile if I had my converter lockedup? If so can someone tell me how I would go about doing this and what is the stock MPH setting for lockup and what MPH setting would be a good starting point to use at the 1/4mile. Also is this in any way bad for the trans? Thanks for the help!

lots of information if you search on this one...
and yes, it can damage the tranny and torque converter unless the converter is designed for it (such as a multi-disc vigilante).
